Work has been a madhouse for the last 2-3 weeks. The pace and the amount are intense. While it’s exhausting, it’s also exhilarating because we know we’re making a difference in student learning. My latest efforts have been heavily into making tutorials—how to write class notebooks, summary/reading notebooks, lab notebooks, how to read actively and be engaged—all with sound and images and accessibility features. And I have more to do this weekend, which may make you wonder why I’m writing this instead of getting on with it. It’s just that this open diary about my life and work makes me think I’m getting to others out in cyberspace, too. Who knows? It’s the parable of the seed, I suppose. Strew away like mad and hope some seed hits fertile soil. You can view my tutorials in a section under my academic c.v. if you’re interested (they’re made with Adobe Captivate).
